Armed School Security Officer- Lackawanna Trail School District

Armed School Security Officers will provide security at a designated school district as assigned. Training will be provided for qualified candidates. Security experience required with Law Enforcement (either active or previous) experience also desired.

The qualified candidate must complete all trainings successfully and obtain PA State mandated clearances for working in schools. These expenses are reimbursed by the company.
ACT 235 Required.

• Monitoring bus duties
• Completing security rounds of the property
• Assisting in managing all types of situations
• Occasionally working weekend or evening sporting events as requested by the school
• Completing tasks assigned/requested by the district
• Providing professional service and advice in the areas of security, CEP-TED, and mitigation

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Law enforcement: 1 year (Preferred)
• Military/Police: 1 year (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)
• Act 235 (Required)

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

Varied weekdays as dictated by the district;
Weekends as needed.
