As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will manage access points, support badge-related processes, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor and control access to the retail location, verifying credentials, following visitor procedures, and maintaining accurate access-related records.

+ Respond to incidents, unauthorized access attempts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, entrances, employee areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.

+ Assist with directing visitors, supporting opening and closing procedures, and communicating security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
