As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, responding to alarm panel notifications, and documenting security-related activities. You will provide outstanding customer service while remaining visible to help deter incidents.

** Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
** Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes understanding how to issue, manage, and deactivate access badges for employees and visitors.

** Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
** Familiarity with alarm panel systems is essential. Candidates should be able to operate, troubleshoot, and respond to alarm systems effectively.

** Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
** Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing digital tools for communication and reporting.

** Customer Service Experience (B219)
** A background in customer service is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle inquiries and complaints, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and colleagues.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate access-control records for an industrial parts distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and shipping/receiving locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
