** Full Time Security Officer Screening Specialist at a Food Processing Plant
** in  
** New Holland, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor alarm systems, and support a welcoming experience for employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and report security-related concerns.

* ** Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour*

** Access Control/Badge Experience*
* 2. Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes understanding how to issue, revoke, and manage access credentials for employees and visitors.

** Alarm Panel Experience*
* 4. Familiarity with alarm panel systems is essential. Candidates should be able to operate, troubleshoot, and respond to alarm notifications effectively.

** Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet*
* 6. Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required. Candidates should be comfortable navigating various software applications and performing tasks such as data entry, communication, and report generation.

** Customer Service Experience*

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor access points at a food and beverage production location, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, facility grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors while supporting compliance with facility entry requirements and security-related protocols.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
