As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and emergency services when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, documenting incidents and completing required reports.

+ Support a professional, respectful environment by providing directions, assisting with access-related questions, and escalating concerns through established channels.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
