** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.

+ Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and facility concerns.

+ Complete accurate reports and documentation for visitor activity, incidents, access-control issues, and daily operations in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
