The Tech II is an entry-level role within the Mitigation Division. This team member is responsible for assisting Lead Technicians in the delivery of emergency mitigation services including water, mold, and fire damage cleanup.
The Tech II position is designed to be a steppingstone into a long-term career in property restoration, with structured training and advancement opportunities including IICRC certification and promotion to Lead Technician.
Essential Functions- Support Lead Technicians with job site preparation and cleanup. Load, unload, and stage tools and equipment.
- Assist with demolition and debris removal.
- Follow instructions for installing containment barriers and setting up drying equipment.
- Perform basic cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing of affected areas.
- Move, pack, and protect customers' contents and belongings.
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and equipment.
- Take jobsite photos and assist with documentation as instructed.
- Attend required training and safety meetings.
- Represent Green Tec in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Work EnvironmentResidential and commercial job sites. Exposure to water, mold, fire damage conditions. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
Physical Demands- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
- Working in confined spaces and elevated areas
- Exposure to noise from power tools and machinery
Local travel to job sites using company vehicles. Occasional extended hours during emergencies.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Preferred Education and Experience Prior experience in construction, demolition, cleaning, or restoration a plus
- Interest in pursuing IICRC certification
$18-$22 /HR pending experience level.
