What we expect from you

Equipment and building repair skills. Capable to learn specific equipment repair techniques and other skills as apply to the restaurant's property, building, equipment and refrigeration. Specialty skills command a higher salary.

* Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of restaurant equipment (fryers, grills, ovens, walk in freezers/coolers, ice machines, etc.)

* Technical knowledge of electrical repair, carpentry, and plumbing

* Knowledge of HVAC/refrigeration

* Ability to inspect and correctly diagnose standard malfunctions in restaurant equipment

* Ability to read and interpret manual, schematics and specifications related to duties

* Ability to perform minor and major repairs related to the restaurant and equipment

* Ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative

* Must have a current Driver's License and clean driving record

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2 years experience in general maintenance/repair work or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical training, licenses, and/or certifications
