Physical Security Specialist

Reports To:

General Manager or Owner

The Door/Locksmith Technician position is an integral part of DiMarco Security dba Fly Lock Security Solutions of Greater PA & NJ and is key to the growth of the company. All technicians must have the ability to work well in a high-paced working environment. The individual must work well as part of the team and independently from the Fly Lock owner.

The position is a hands-on technical position geared toward an individual who has a technical mindset. Ideal candidates will have locksmithing knowledge and demonstrate the ability to learn new technical methods and techniques.

• Ability to install, repair, and maintain Commercial and Residential hardware.
• Ability to install, repair, and maintain Access Control Hardware
• Safe and Card Access experience is a Huge Plus
• Full Frame/Door Replacement experience is a Huge Plus
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to troubleshoot with a variety of variables in situations.
• Ability to effectively present information to office & customers.

• Receive verbal instructions from Management or Clients/Customers.
• Perform small projects as directed by Management.
• Complete and submit electronic paperwork accurately and on time.

• Technical hands-on field experience in locksmithing, access control, door hardware, and other skilled trades required.
• Good relationship-building skills with a diverse population including all customers’ partners, technicians, and all other company employees.
• Good verbal, communication, & organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple functions at the same time.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of working effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to drive in compliance with company vehicle policy.
• Provide a high level of timely & accurate customer service.
• Respond to general inquiries from customers/clients.

• Must be able to fluently understand, speak, and write English.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground.
