The Field Service Technician will be responsible to assemble, install and repair Veritas Smart Doors®. Strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of electrical wiring/troubleshooting, computer skills, and hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing motors would be beneficial for this position. The candidate needs to be willing to learn how to build a Veritas Smart Door®. Must be able to communicate well, both verbally and written, for interactions with the client and for writing service repair reports.

Travel will be required, up to 60%, domestically and occasionally internationally. Travel requirements may be higher and will fluctuate based upon customer needs.

• Assemble, stage, set up, and test Smart Doors® at Harleysville shop.
• Crate door components for transportation according to defined SOP.
• Load crates onto trucks for delivery to job site.
• Unload trucks as product is delivered to Veritas.
• Pick-up parts from local vendors as needed.
• Unpack delivered supplies and log into inventory, as needed.
• Understand the features and benefits of all door products, and how to communicate to all levels.

• Travel to customer sites for Smart Door® installation.
• Travel to customer sites to install finishes on installed doors.
• Represent Veritas positively and professionally at all times while traveling for Veritas.
• Provide customer service via telephone and remote sessions for initial troubleshooting and diagnostics of shielded doors.
• Travel to customer locations to provide onsite diagnostics and servicing of shielded doors. This will include accessing the area above the door for servicing.
• Travel to customer sites to provide regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites to provide Smart Door® training for GC's, subcontractors, medical staff and maintenance personnel.
• Provide feedback from service visits that enables continuous improvement of the Smart Door® product line.
