Fire Alarm Systems Specialist Lester, PA | Full-Time Day in the Life You start your morning at our Lester hub, check your schedule, load up your company-provided vehicle, and head to a client site near PHL. By mid-morning, you’re pulling low-voltage cable, mounting devices, and programming panels to align with NFPA codes. After lunch, you’re testing circuits, documenting results, and walking the customer through system functionality.

When an urgent service call pops up, you diagnose, repair, and verify operation—leaving the site safer than you found it.

What You’ll Tackle Install complete fire alarm systems, including wiring, panels, and devices, in accordance with NFPA requirements.

Program, function-test, and inspect new and existing systems; verify compliance and document results.

Diagnose issues on site and perform timely repairs and emergency service.

Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance.

Maintain current licenses/certifications and support local licensure compliance.

Travel to projects throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas (company vehicle provided).Communicate clearly with clients; provide thorough service reports to customers and management.

Comfortable working to NFPA codes and industry standards.

Strong communicator—clear, courteous, and customer-focused.

Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Shadow seasoned technicians to learn workflows and standards.

Begin basic installs and inspections under guidance.
30–60 Days Own defined tasks like panel programming and functional testing.

Secure required licenses/certifications.

Build rapport with clients and collaborate with teammates.

By 90 Days Independently run installs, troubleshooting, and routine inspections.

Suggest workflow improvements and elevate customer satisfaction.

Contribute ideas and updates in team meetings.
