Lineman

As a Lineman at PPG Utility Solutions LLC, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power lines and fiber optic construction. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that our utility services operate efficiently and safely.

• Install and maintain overhead and underground electrical power lines.
• Perform routine inspections and tests on electrical systems to ensure functionality.
• Respond to emergency calls for repairs and outages in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working on job sites.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding service updates and safety practices.

• Proven experience as a lineman or in a similar electrical role.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Certification in electrical safety or related field.
• Experience with both overhead and underground line work.
• Familiarity with the use of specialized tools and equipment for electrical work.
