As the Placement and Retention Specialist, you will foster your interpersonal competencies through job readiness services, participant development, job coaching, and job placement. Build connections with diverse populations to meet the outcome goals of the program and participants, including participating in employment planning meetings.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop employment plans and related goals; assist individuals in applying for and obtaining other services related to meeting stated goals.
- Provide job-specific training, support, and supervision to individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment, ensuring needs are met, goals are implemented, and a safe environment is maintained.
- Manage and accommodate multiple candidate schedules across various sites.
- Deliver quality job search, placement, and career development services using job search technologies (including Career Link) and resources to identify suitable jobs based on participant abilities, skills, and interests.
- Collaborate with various departments, attend team meetings and trainings, and maintain communication with mental health transitional employment services.
Travel Required: Local travel is necessary.
Schedule: Varies based on participant needs.
External Hiring Range: $16.68 to $17.68 per hour
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 3 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities or barriers.
- Associates' Degree AND 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities or barriers.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities or barriers.
Required Clearances, Licenses, and Certifications:
- Current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to first day of employment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to complete ACRE certification within six months of hire.
