** Technical** – deep experience in integrating a strong software development background with a passion for the discipline of Quality Engineering.
* o Create and maintain automated UI and API tests
* o Write and execute Test Case to ensure development outputs meet defined specification cases in coordination with Business requirements and Technical Specifications
* o Review, validate, and document the setting controls for card programs using platforms like Fiserv
* o Pinpoint and rectify inconsistencies within card program setting controls, ensuring accurate configurations
* o Document software defects using JIRA bug tracking system
* o Be able to use Test Case Management tools such as Zephyr
* o Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
* o Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
* o Participate in test case reviews and ensure requirements traceability, proper coverage
* o Perform Exploratory, Functional, Integration, UI, back-end testing, White box/Black box testing. Demonstrate the capacity to investigate and debug complex issues.·
** Methodology** –deep expertise and knowledge in Quality Engineering standards, processes, policies, and procedures.
* o Demonstrate and evangelize a passion for process and methodology through daily actions
* o Adhere to and support all established and documented methodology/best practices in alignment with the Release methodologies and processes
* o Adhere to and support group processes, procedures, and standards to drive and guide a repeatable, reliable delivery of high-quality software products and services
* o Display a basic understanding of testing methodology and product knowledge in the design of tests
* o Advise, assist, and mentor QE team members with distributed testing responsibilities
* o Evangelize, support, and embody Cardworks’s Company Mission, Strategy and Values
* o Foster a culture of ownership and pride for delivering the highest levels of quality and excellence
* o Assess solution risk and assist the project team in prioritizing testing efforts·

** Skills/Competencies
*** o 2-4 years UI Test automation experience (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
* o 2-4 years of hands-on working experience building API automation tests
* o 2-4 years of hands-on experience with programming/scripting, preferably in languages like Python, Java, C#, or Java Script
* o 2-4 year’s experience creating XPath queries and functions
* o Knowledge in API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, and similar.
* o Basic understanding of RESTful API principles, best practices, and microservices patterns
* o Demonstrate basic SQL programming skills (queries, joins, etc.)
* o Knowledgeable in testing methodology, design, execution and attaining product knowledge
* o
Experience with QA techniques including black box, white box, and gray box approaches for smoke, regression, functional, user acceptance and exploratory testing
* o
Experience with the development of use cases, test scenarios and/or test plans
* o Investigating and debugging complex issues
* o
Experience with Agile testing
* o Experience using JIRA or another bug tracking tools
* o Experience using Test Case Management tools such as Zephyr·
