Freelance Developer – Node.js & Python

Join a dynamic remote project focused on developing and maintaining web applications using Node.js and/or Python. You will play a key role in building robust backend APIs, resolving technical issues, and ensuring seamless integration with the frontend, ideally leveraging your experience with React. You will work closely with a US-based team, primarily during EST hours, and help transform ideas into functional features for a personal project.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and/or Python
• Integrate backend services with React-based frontend applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues as they arise
• Collaborate with remote team members to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
• Ensure code quality, security, and scalability across all deliverables
• Manage version control using Git and maintain clear documentation

• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Python for backend development
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Familiarity with Mongo
  
  DB or Postgre
  
  SQL databases
• Strong understanding of React and frontend integration
• Comfortable using Git for version control and collaboration
• Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively with a distributed team
• Availability to collaborate during US Eastern Time (EST) hours
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently
