Associate Full Stack Developer

Villanova University is hiring an Associate Full Stack Developer to support the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of web applications, digital experience platforms, and related web services that support the University's digital ecosystem. The role involves contributing across the software development lifecycle with a focus on front-end and back-end development, integrations, cloud-based delivery, deployments, troubleshooting, and platform operations under guidance to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with University standards.

• Develop, test, debug, and enhance web application features and components across front-end and back-end technologies.
• Support Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including AEM as a Cloud Service and AEM Edge Delivery Services, University website, mobile app (Modo Labs), and web portal (One Campus).
• Assist with API integrations, troubleshooting, release support, and platform operations.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant industry certifications (AEM, Java) with 0-2 years of related work experience; academic projects and internships considered.
• Foundational knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, front-end and back-end development, browser testing, responsive design, accessibility, SEO, and web performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Salary range $71,700 to $89,600, determined by qualifications, budget, market data, and internal equity.
• Preferred qualifications include Master’s degree, experience in higher education web development, use of Agile and SDLC practices, and familiarity with AI coding assistants.
