Job Summary
Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes. Maximize client retention through excellent coaching, training, nutrition guidance, and accountability. Modify and adapt movements to suit individual needs. Teach and improve the lives of D1’s members, including scholastic athletes (ages 7-18), adults, and teams, by:
- Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive attitude, strong character, and delivering exceptional customer service
- Starting and ending workouts on time
- Assessing and aligning each member with the appropriate program
- Building and maintaining relationships with members
- Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams
- Providing educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition
- Teaching proper form and technique to ensure athlete safety
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes
- Maximize client retention through top-tier service
- Modify and adapt movements for individual needs
- Focus on proper technique to reduce injury risk
Qualifications
- Valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification
- At least one NCCA-accredited certification
- Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning experience in group, team, or personal training
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field (preferred)
