Group Exercise Area Director

Founded in 2011 by health and fitness professionals, our 25,000+ square foot locations across RI, PA, and OH feature cardio machines, classes, instructors, smoothie bars, cinema cardio rooms, and Kids Clubs.

• Very positive and energetic personality
• A passion for group exercise classes
• Excellent communication, time‑management, and organization skills
• Strong ability to collaborate with the group exercise staff and club manager
• 2–3 years of experience in the fitness industry

• Oversee the entire group exercise schedule
• Communicate and coordinate with instructors
• Track class attendance on a weekly and monthly basis
• Maintain a backup list of instructors for class cancellations
• Ensure all classes run on time and instructors arrive promptly
• Keep an updated record of instructor certification certificates
• Spend 5–10 hours weekly engaging members for class feedback and meeting with the club manager
• Be reachable for instructor questions or emergencies
• Represent Maxx Fitness Clubzz exclusively
• Build a network of area instructors to create raving fan class schedules
