Yard Supervisor

We’re seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Yard Supervisor to oversee daily milk‑loading and yard operations, supervise drivers, and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant workflows. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and flexibility in a fast‑paced environment.

LOCATION:

Greenville, PA

• Supervise transport and farm‑pickup drivers; support dispatch and route supervisors
• Maintain efficient milk‑loading operations and yard organization
• Communicate with drivers, team members, and customers to resolve issues and support daily operations
• Be available 24/7 for calls and emergency response
• Plan schedules, manage staffing challenges, and handle performance and disciplinary issues with HR
• Hire, train, and develop drivers; foster a positive, safety‑focused team culture
• Attend management meetings and support operations across areas as needed
• Partner with the Safety Representative on safety meetings, compliance monitoring, accident investigations, CDL/medical renewals, and drug testing
• Ensure the yard is fully staffed and maintain Tenstreet records; manage all hiring for the terminal
• Provide support to other Northeast operations as needed
• Update and utilize dispatch software effectively
• Serve on‑call for the Northeast region every third weekend

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CDL required
• Supervisory or operations experience (trucking/logistics preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays/on‑call
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks (yard checks, lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Reliable transportation; travel may be required
