Danella Storm Services is a 24/7/365 operation that supports utility companies across the United States with storm restoration efforts. With a primary yard in Plymouth Meeting, PA, and three strategically positioned satellite yards throughout the Eastern U.S., Danella Storm is equipped to rapidly deploy resources and personnel to assist in emergency response and power restoration whenever and wherever needed.

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Storm Operations Yard Support team member to assist in preparing and executing our storm response and recovery operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining yard operations, ensuring the availability and readiness of equipment and resources needed during severe weather events. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

• Equipment Management
  :
  Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and organization of storm response equipment and vehicles, ensuring everything is in good working order and ready for deployment.
• Logistical Support
  :
  Help manage the inventory of materials, supplies, and resources required for storm operations, including, but not limited to, safety gear, tools, and emergency resources.
• Yard Maintenance
  :
  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the yard, including properly storing equipment and materials to mitigate hazards.
• Team Coordination
  :
  Collaborate with storm response teams and other operational staff to ensure seamless execution of storm preparations and responses.
• Documentation
  :
  Help maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inventory levels, and maintenance logs, ensuring compliance with company protocols and safety regulations.
• Emergency Deployment
  :
  Be available for emergency response and recovery operations, including extended hours during storm events and immediate preparation activities.
• Safety Compliance
  :
  Follow all safety protocols and procedures consistent with company policy to ensure a safe working environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or training is a plus.
• Previous experience in logistics, operations support, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to operate machinery and vehicles relevant to yard operations (e.g., forklifts, trucks) is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, especially under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, during storm events.

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
