Position Description

• Hourly Pay: $27.58 per hour, overtime after 40 hours
• Weekly Guarantee: $1250 per week
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM, 45+ hours per week
• Trailer Types: 48' Flatbed, Straight Truck, 53' Dry Van
• Freight:
  Flatbed load securement experience preferred
• Loyalty Bonus: $3,000 (paid $1,500 at 6 months and $1,500 at 1 year)
• Tenure Bonus: $1,200 (pays $300 four times a year, every quarter)

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards, maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/Unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder Drug Test
• Pass Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle Check (drug and alcohol verification for last 3 years)
• Pass DOT Physical
• Pass Ryder Road Test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience in tractor trailer or comparable vehicle (9 months experience within last 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within last 10 years)
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
