Location: Wellsville

Weaver's of Wellsville is a fifth-generation family-owned food distributor and smoked meat producer in Wellsville, PA. We are looking for motivated people to join our truck driving team. The hours will vary daily, but will fall between 4 am and 5 pm Tuesday‑Friday for a total of 44‑48 hours per week. Overtime opportunities are available on a case‑by‑case basis, as we are rapidly growing and there is always work to do.

  • Applicants will be expected to be able to lift 90 lbs.
  • The job requires a CDL Class B or higher, as well as the ability to operate forklifts and power jacks.
  • Applicants must be 21 years or older.
  • Applicants must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to speak basic Spanish would be useful, as we have a small number of Spanish customers, but we do not require it, nor do we currently have any Spanish‑speaking drivers.
  • Duties will include, but are not limited to, loading trucks, delivering to supermarkets, farm markets, and specialty grocers/food stores. For some stops, this means pallet unloading, while for others it means hand cart unloading. Most of our products are refrigerated or frozen.
  • All employees receive full first‑person healthcare coverage with a $500 deductible from Capital Blue Cross. No deductions are made from paychecks for healthcare.

  • Menu plans are offered through the company for additional insurance (long‑term disability, cancer, eye, etc).
  • We offer a 401(k) plan along with profit sharing.
  • We assess all employees for advancement in pay yearly.
Responsibilities
  • Confirm that orders are delivered and inspected for accuracy both before and after unloading.
  • Assure customer satisfaction by interacting with them in a polite and professional manner.
  • Generate the relevant documentation or reports for delivery or accounting purposes.
  • Follow planned routes, timetables, and local traffic rules to guarantee a safe and efficient delivery.
  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery of new items to customers.
Qualifications
  • Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a clean driving record.
  • Must possess great time management skills and communication skills.
  • Must have graduated high school or received equivalency (GED).
  • Delivery driver or related job experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
Compensation

$23 per hour to start
