Accounts Senior – Penrith, Cumbria £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Career Progression

Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Penrith, Cumbria
.

This role would suit an Accounts Senior, Accounts Semi Senior or Senior Accountant with previous UK accountancy practice experience and looking for a varied client portfolio.

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparing Corporation Tax computations and returns
• Completing Personal Tax returns
• Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as their main point of contact
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Providing clients with accounting support and advice
• Assisting Managers and Partners with advisory and ad hoc assignments

• AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, finalist or QBE
• Previous accountancy practice experience
• Strong accounts preparation and tax knowledge
• Good communication and client management skills
• Keen to develop and progress within practice

• £35,000 - £45,000 salary DOE
