Apprenticeship Clerk Typist

Main duties of the job

Provide general administrative support to the Specialty Medicine Admin Team, maintaining a professional, patient‑focused approach at all times. Assist the clinical team by liaising with other departments, patients, NHS Trusts and external agencies.

Support the efficient day‑to‑day delivery of medical specialties through accurate data entry, record keeping, and communication.

Qualifications
  • GCSE in English and Maths (minimum C/Grade
    4)
  • Determined to undertake and complete a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • Legal immigration status permitting employment in the United Kingdom (e.g., Health and Care Visa, Skilled Worker Visa, or other qualifying status)
  • Eligible for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (Standard or Enhanced, as required)
Experience
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge
  • Confidentiality and data protection principles
