Service Technician

Protyre Autocare is looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast‑growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.

As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for providing exceptional vehicle servicing and repairs by using the latest diagnostic technology and techniques to identify vehicle issues.

Must have: Full current UK Driving Licence is required for this role, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application).

• Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Completing fast‑fit tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments.
• Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products.
• Carrying out MOT repairs.
• Adherence to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process.
• Use relevant diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to the highest quality.
• Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues vehicles of certain makes and ages develop, and offers timelines for future vehicle repair needs.
• Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations.

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the Automotive industry.
• Experienced with mechanical and fast‑fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
• The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
