The Role
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you'll be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage and producing repair estimates that support an efficient and high-quality repair process. You'll work closely with technicians, parts departments, insurers and customers to ensure repairs are completed to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
· Inspecting damaged vehicles and identifying all repair requirements.
· Producing accurate repair estimates using industry-recognised estimating systems.
· Liaising with customers, insurers and internal departments throughout the repair process.
· Ordering and authorising replacement parts where required.
· Monitoring repair progress and updating estimates when necessary.
· Ensuring repairs meet manufacturer methods and insurance standards.
· Supporting the workshop to achieve productivity and quality targets.
· Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
About You
This role would suit an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator who takes pride in producing accurate estimates while delivering excellent customer service.
You'll ideally have:
· Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Estimator or Bodyshop Estimator.
· Experience using recognised estimating software such as Audatex or similar.
· Strong knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods and insurance procedures.
· Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
· The ability to manage multiple repair cases in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· A full UK driving licence.
