Occupational Therapist

Vivid Healthcare are working with a specialist service in Southampton seeking a Locum Occupational Therapist with experience in neurological rehabilitation . This role sits within a dedicated neuro rehab team, supporting patients with complex neurological conditions to maximise independence and function. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a structured, goal oriented environment alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities Managing a caseload of patients with neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, brain injury, MS) Delivering specialist neuro rehab interventions Completing detailed functional, cognitive, and perceptual assessments Goal setting and treatment planning in line with rehab pathways Upper limb rehabilitation and splinting (where applicable) Discharge planning and community reintegration support Working collaboratively within an MDT (Physio, Speech & Language Therapy, Neuropsychology) Maintaining accurate clinical records Requirements HCPC registered Occupational Therapist Proven experience within neuro rehabilitation Experience working with stroke and/or brain injury patients Strong understanding of cognitive and perceptual impairments Ability to manage complex caseloads independently NHS experience preferred If you’re a Neuro Rehab OT looking for your next locum opportunity in Southampton, apply today or get in touch to discuss further.
