• Provide expert input to the National Framework for Water Resources
• Lead shaping and scrutiny of Water companies’ statutory Water Resource Management Plans
• Manage programmes to deliver sustainable abstraction
• Plan and manage drought responses
• Develop talent and skills in water planning
• Advance national modelling for water resources and groundwater
• Lead a department of over 70 technical experts within Operations Catchment Services
• Act as part of the Operations Catchment Services Leadership Team
