We are seeking to recruit a Wellbeing Advisor to join our Wellbeing Team. This key, front‑facing role involves managing enquiries, providing student appointments and outreach, and working closely with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver effective advice and support to students and respond to welfare and behaviour concerns, working flexibly, responsively and liaising with university partners and external agencies.
IdealCandidate Experience
- Substantial experience working with individuals with welfare, mental health and/or behavioural issues
- Experience of gathering and providing information, advice or guidance in a welfare or pastoral context
- Ability to adapt and transfer skills to a university setting, supporting the organisational approach and students in academic progress, working in a multi‑disciplinary team
- Experience of, and commitment to, working collaboratively and positively in a team
- Ability to remain calm and deal sensitively and effectively with difficult situations in a high‑demand environment
- Permanent, full‑time, 37.5 hours per week contract
- Fixed‑term until July 2026, full‑time, 37.5 hours per week contract
