Overview

Assistant Accountant – Penryn – Temporary (initially circa 2 - 3 months)
Pay: £15 - £19 per hour (including holiday pay), depending on experience
Location: Penryn
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, early Friday finish on offer)
Start: ASAP

Carrington Wood is pleased to be supporting a respected and busy organisation as they look to add a Assistant Accountant to support their finance team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to jump into a hands on finance role, keep things running smoothly, and gain valuable exposure across the business.

• Managing account reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts
• Supporting with transactional finance and month-end duties
• Collaborating with colleagues across departments
• Getting involved with ad hoc tasks, including some that may fall outside of finance
• Helping to keep finance processes ticking over efficiently and accurately

• Previous experience in a finance role (practice background beneficial, but not essential)
• AAT qualification would be desirable, but not essential
• A proactive, reliable team player who enjoys being busy and helping out wherever needed
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude

• Pay between £15 and £19 per hour (including holiday pay), subject to experience
• Early Friday finish available
• Friendly, down-to-earth team who support and motivate each other
