This Support Worker role in Penryn, Cornwall offers £15.34 per hour on a full-time basis of 37 hours weekly. The contract runs for 12 weeks initially, with scope to become permanent, starting 26th October 2026. Shifts span five days across a rolling rota, Monday to Sunday, between 8am and 9pm.

We are recruiting for a Support Worker to join a supported housing service in Penryn, working with adults with complex needs. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll provide person-centred support, helping individuals build confidence, maintain independence and achieve positive outcomes.

The Role
  • Provide tailored support to adults with complex needs
  • Develop and maintain support plans
  • Complete risk assessments and risk management

  • Maintain accurate records and case notes
  • Work closely with colleagues and external agencies
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures
  • Undertake lone working as required
About You
  • Has experience within support work, supported housing, homelessness or complex needs
  • Understands support planning and risk management
  • Can build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Is confident working independently
  • Is resilient, adaptable and comfortable working under pressure
  • Has good IT and record-keeping skills
  • Can work flexibly across the rota, including weekends and bank holidays
