We’re looking for a Team Leader to join our team in Penryn, Cornwall, providing confident, visible and supportive leadership to a team delivering high-quality, person-centred support within the home.

At Brandon Trust, we work alongside autistic people and people with learning disabilities, supporting them to make their own choices, find their own path and live the lives they want. It’s about creating opportunities, building confidence and supporting people to develop their independence.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play an important part in making that happen.

What you’ll be doing

Working closely with the Locality Manager, you’ll lead, support and develop Support Workers within the Penryn home, helping them deliver consistent, high-quality support.

Your role will include:
  • Leading and motivating the team to provide outstanding, person-centred support
  • Supporting people to live the lives they choose, with freedom, choice and independence
  • Providing day-to-day leadership, supervision, coaching and guidance to Support Workers
  • Supporting the Locality Manager with team development and performance

  • Ensuring support is delivered in line with Brandon Trust policies and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Working flexibly alongside your team and providing hands‑on support when needed
  • Helping colleagues develop their skills, confidence and practice

You’ll bring a calm, resilient and positive approach, with the confidence to make decisions, manage competing priorities and support your team through challenges.

You don’t need to have been a Team Leader before. If you have strong experience in social care and are ready for your next career opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is reliable, flexible and resilient
  • Takes pride in helping both people we support and colleagues achieve their potential
  • Has a relevant social care qualification, or is willing to work towards one
  • Has a full UK driving licence – desirable
