Luna Point Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team at 400 Milestone Blvd, Cantonment, FL 32533. We’re opening the doors to a brand‑new dental practice and we’re looking for a patient‑focused, team‑spirited professional from day one. Job Responsibilities
  • Provide patient education and preventive care to patients
  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, screen patients, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the practice team to ensure patients receive the time and attention they need, deserve, and desire
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current dental hygienist license in FL and an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR certification
Preferred Experience
  • Open to new graduate or years of clinical experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patients’ needs and provide preventive care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by the office
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the office/doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year
  • TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions; test arranged during pre‑employment process
