OverviewThe Instructional Designer will support the Legal Operations business unit by planning, designing, and developing high-quality learning experiences that enhance organizational knowledge and performance. This role requires strong technical design capabilities, the ability to translate complex information into engaging content, and effective collaboration with subject‑matter experts and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, manage, and execute instructional design projects and initiatives.
- Develop instructional courses aligned with targeted learning outcomes using tools such as Articulate Suite
, Adobe Express
, Camtasia
, and Adobe Illustrator
. - Organize and sequence instructional content using a variety of learning design techniques.
- Create curriculum by efficiently synthesizing large volumes of information and collaborating with stakeholders for subject‑matter research.
- Build, maintain, and manage LMS learning activities, including required training assignments and custom reporting.
- Establish or tailor design and development models appropriate for each project.
- Analyze learning needs and collaborate with stakeholders to define clear learning objectives.
- Evaluate course effectiveness and ensure learning outcomes are met.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback to refine and improve learning content.
- Design training‑related communications, such as newsletters, flyers, and internal announcements.
- Produce interactive learning modules, animations, graphics, and videos that support engaging learning experiences.
- Ability to adapt to changing workflows and project priorities.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and work tactfully with stakeholders.
- Experience writing instructional content and developing technology‑driven learning products (graphics, videos, animations).
- Experience creating custom illustrations to convey learning themes.
- Advanced understanding of instructional theories, educational psychology, and learning design methodologies.
- Ability to compile, organize, and translate information into effective learning materials.
