ST Engineering Aerospace is located at Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, Alabama, and Pensacola, FL, at the Pensacola International Airport. We are a renowned provider of aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. The Technical Training Instructor shall be responsible to the Manager, Technical Training. He/she will help plan, conduct, and administer programs that train employees and improve their skills and knowledge. He/she will organize or deliver training sessions using lectures, group discussions, team exercises, hands‑on examples, and other formats. He/she may monitor training, guide employees through media‑based programs, or facilitate informal or collaborative learning programs.

• Develop and validate lesson plans as needed
• Ensure that all training courses are designed to produce maximum effectiveness, efficiency, improved quality, and increased production for the trainees.
• Design and create training manuals, online learning modules, and course materials
• Review training materials from a variety of sources and choose appropriate materials
• Deliver training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques
• Assist in the evaluation of training programs
• Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring costs, scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating enrollment
• Coordinate with the Directors of Maintenance, Quality and respective Departmental Heads for the training requests and acceptable start dates and times for all courses to be taught.
• Coordinate and resolve system problems.
• Create and maintain various system or PC reports to meet the needs of the company or department.
• Proctor/supervise training and classroom activities.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor, Technical Training and Manager, Technical Training and Library/Records Department.

Good working knowledge and ability in the following:
The ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, by presenting ideas and giving instructions/guidance to subordinates, co‑workers, and outside agencies in a manner that instructions are carried out and requested information is obtained. Job applicant must possess computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, Convergence LMS. Ability to put together training plans, presentations, talking papers, etc.

Climate controlled office / classroom environment but not limited to this environment.
