Position Specific Description

This position will report to the Plant Manager and be based at Gulf Clean Energy Center located in Pensacola, FL.

The Power Plant Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the power generation facility. This role ensures compliance with environmental regulations, company policies, and industry standards while leading a team of operators and technicians to meet production goals and maintain operational excellence.

Preferred candidate will have advanced knowledge of power plant operations, especially fossil fuel technology.

Additional

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manages associated capital and O&M budgets
• Responsible for work management backlog
• Troubleshoot and analyze equipment performance deviations
• Ensure site equipment is in excellent operational condition and available for use at all times

• Focuses on optimizing site maintenance
• Develops technicians’ skills and knowledge
• Standardizes processes, procedures, and techniques to ensure repeatability
• Assumes direct accountability for internal employee development and performance management
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
