Regional Engineering Manager – Water/Wastewater

📍 Multiple Locations | Full-Time | Leadership Opportunity

A well-established, employee-owned engineering and consulting firm is seeking a Regional Engineering Manager to lead and expand its Water/Wastewater practice in the North Gulf Region of Florida, in locations such as Pensacola, Tallahassee, etc. This is a leadership role where you will drive business growth, manage high-performing teams, and strengthen client relationships while delivering critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Base Pay Range

$/yr - $/yr

The Opportunity
  • Lead and grow the Water/Wastewater practice in the Gulf region, overseeing municipal and private sector projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to expand project work and secure new business opportunities.
  • Support and manage offices in those locations, including recruiting, retaining, and mentoring engineering staff.
  • Oversee profitable operations, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Drive business development and marketing efforts to strengthen market presence in water supply, treatment, storage, distribution, and wastewater collection and treatment.
  • Ensure effective utilization of resources and implement quality control systems across project teams.
  • Serve as a technical and strategic leader, providing guidance and mentorship to regional engineers and production staff.
Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in FL or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
  • 15–20+ years of experience managing water and wastewater projects, client relationships, and business operations.
  • Proven success in business development, staff leadership, and market growth within the consulting engineering sector.
  • Deep understanding of municipal water, wastewater, and water resources infrastructure.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
