Responsibilities
- The Manufacturing Engineer will run the unit safely, reliably, and efficiently. We have multiple, urgent needs.
- Responsible for unit operating performance to include production, raw material usage, energy usage, quality, daily performance tracking, troubleshooting, and basic unit optimization.
- Add direct value to the business by driving real-time unit performance in these areas.
- Demonstrates leadership in driving corporate zero-incident safety culture through safe work practices and operator engagement.
- Design, put into practice, lead, and champion the use of best-in-class and lean / six sigma based work processes.
- Relocation provided. $100K-$130K.
- The Manufacturing Engineer will have a BS in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing plant (mandatory).
- Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Office, SAP, Minitab
- Commitment to plant safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene practices
- Familiarity with Process Flow Diagrams and P&’s
- Pluses include a Six Sigma Certification and knowledge of Title V and ISO 9001.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
