Position: Technician - Engineering (Entry Level)
Job Location and Schedule

100% onsite at 8780 Ely Rd. Pensacola, FL. 32514

Shift: M-F 7am-4pm, with possible overtime when approved by HM

    Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing and facilities equipment
  • Supervise upgrades/modifications to maintain equipment in 'As New' condition
  • Identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions
  • Manage small-scale equipment and facility projects
  • Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
  • Support equipment startup, calibration, and support
  • Supervise contractors such as plumbers and electricians
  • Communicate relevant information timely
  • Lead FMEAs for equipment upgrades or obsolescence
  • Apply Root Cause Analysis for troubleshooting
  • Mentor maintenance technicians
    • Qualifications
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and commercial components
  • PLC experience
  • Lean methodology experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of engineering standards and safety codes
  • Understanding of facility infrastructure such as boilers and compressors
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience or entry-level with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical engineering, or related field
