We are seeking an entry-level Industrial Hygienist to join our Environmental, Safety, Security, and Health (ESSH) team. This role will provide exposure to a wide range of occupational health programs and practices within a dynamic chemical manufacturing environment. ** Targeted Outcomes
*** Support the development and execution of industrial hygiene programs that protect employee health.
* Gain hands-on experience in exposure monitoring, sampling, and risk assessment.
* Contribute to regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of workplace health initiatives.
** Responsibilities
* * Exposure Monitoring and Assessments
* Conduct workplace exposure monitoring for chemicals, noise, and other occupational hazards under guidance.
* Assist with sampling programs, equipment calibration, and recordkeeping.
* Analyze data and help identify trends or areas for improvement.

Program Implementation
* Support respiratory protection, hearing conservation, hazard communication, and other occupational health programs.
* Participate in safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations with a focus on occupational health aspects.
* Assist in the selection and evaluation of personal protective equipment.

Training and Employee Engagement
* Contribute to the development and delivery of employee training on occupational health topics.
* Promote awareness of workplace hazards and preventive practices across the site.

Compliance and Documentation
* Maintain records that support compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and internal ESSH requirements.
* Support preparation of reports, presentations, and metrics for site leadership.

Site Industrial Hygiene Leader or ESSH Manager
* Interactions:
Works closely with site operations, maintenance, engineering, and safety teams. Partners with employees at all levels to foster a safe and healthy workplace.
** Required Experience
*** Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health, safety, chemistry, biology, or a related field.
* 0-3 years of experience
* Internship, co-op, or academic experience in industrial hygiene or occupational safety preferred but not required.
** Required Skills
*** Strong interest in developing a career in industrial hygiene and occupational health.
* Basic understanding of exposure assessment methods, control strategies, and regulatory requirements.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
