Senior Civil Engineer PE – Houston, TX - Land/Site Development Projects

Arcadis is a leading global design, engineering and consultancy firm dedicated to improving quality of life. We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Civil Engineer (PE) to lead and manage large‑scale civil development projects in Houston, TX.

Role accountabilities include:

• Develop and grow the civil engineering practice in the Houston, Texas region, building relationships with current and new clients through business development activities.
• Lead a team that delivers positive relationships and new project opportunities while ensuring quality and commercial objectives are met.
• Provide smart and effective project management and oversight to deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations for quality and commercially.
• Engage directly with clients, design staff, and regulatory agencies to obtain permits and project approvals.

Qualifications &

Experience:

• 12+ years of experience delivering civil site development projects and managing complex budgets in the Houston area.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience building strong client relationships and performing business development activities.
• Experience creating a positive work environment that enables others to do their best work.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to health and safety.

Compensation: $136,086 – $165,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, EAP, 401(k), STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition programs and optional well‑being benefits.
