Your impact We are looking for a Quality Control Manager in the Pensacola, FL area to add to our PMCM team and work alongside our experts to provide contributions to new developments with techniques and standards.

  • Determine the acceptability of the day‑to‑day work by the contractor
  • Review and recommend accepting or rejecting daily reports submitted by the contractor
  • Perform inspection of the contractor’s quality control procedures
  • Oversee material testing and verify that procedures are in conformance with the approved Quality Control Plan and established procedures.
  • Review material testing procedures and results for conformance to the contract and measure quantities of materials placed.
  • Review contractor safety procedures and perform site walks to verify program is being administered by contractors.
  • Review monthly pay applications for verification of work completed and recommendation to clients for payments.
  • Perform field inspections and audits to verify compliance with contract documents, construction drawings, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, RFI’s, and submittals to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
  • Track and document non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and oversee corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to enforce quality standards and resolve issues.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with third‑party testing agencies/vendors to schedule and verify field reports, inspections and photo documentation.
Here’s what you’ll need
  • Recommended experience performing sampling and/or in‑place testing of soil, aggregate base, concrete, and asphalt concrete pavement.
  • High School diploma
  • Previous experience working on vertical construction projects
  • Valid State’s driver’s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background check.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
  • A technical school graduate or a degree related to Engineering or Construction Management (not mandatory).
  • Experience in tilt‑up construction.
  • CEI Inspection history.
  • FDOT Inspection Certifications.
Essential Functions

Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same.

No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, work near construction equipment in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment/materials and machinery, walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, potential work at heights and be able to work day, nights or weekends.
