The Medical Technologist performs all approved laboratory procedures in assigned areas of licensure. The work involves testing that requires a high degree of theoretical knowledge and technical expertise in licensed areas and collaborates with other members of the health care delivery team to deliver quality healthcare.

• Perform all laboratory procedures in assigned areas of licensure in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure accurate patient testing and reporting.
• Maintain quality control, ensure compliance with safety standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or closely related field (e.g., Biological Sciences) – required
• 3 years’ experience as a Medical Technologist

• State of Florida Clinical Lab Technologist or State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor
