Sr Software Engineer

Nightwing is delivering technical support to customer management and providing technical services to enable customer mission accomplishment. In support of the customer’s strategic direction, Nightwing is looking for individuals with mid-level Service Now Developer experience to support customer environment operations.

The Service Now Developer is a technical resource possessing Service Now administration capability and can design, build, and customize Service Now applications and services. The Service Now Application Developer has a software development background in addition to Service Now System Administration, Service Now Advanced System Administration, Scripting in Service Now, and Application Creation in Service Now.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain DHS program suitability prior to starting employment.
• Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in Service Now development.
• Enterprise and/or IT Service Management experience.
• Service Now System Administration experience.
• Experience with gathering requirements, database design schemas, and data modeling.
• 8+ years of software development experience required.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience with Service Now development.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience developing a custom service portal.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience with incident, problem, change management, knowledge, and service catalog applications.
• Experience with process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reporting.
• Experience with LDAP integration, Service Now APIs, and diagnosing performance issues.

• Experience supporting Intelligence, DoD, or DHS customers.
• Experience with process development and deployment.
• Web Service Integration (API Web Services) experience.
• Single Sign-on configuration and administration.
• SQL experience.
• Application experience in ITx, HR, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, Security, Asset Management, PPM, Platform/Integration, Portal/UI, GRC.

• DoD 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level I (e.g., CISSP) highly desired.
• Service Now Certified System Administrator.
• Service Now Certified Application Developer.
• Service Now Implementation Specialist Certified.
• ITIL Foundation v4 Certified or willing to complete within one year of hire.

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. [Ten (10) years of experience may substitute for a degree.]
