Sr Exchange Administrator

Job Description

Watershed Security is looking for qualified candidates to join our team in Pensacola, FL as a Senior System Exchange Administrator. The role requires demonstrated experience conducting VMware and Windows maintenance and administration tasks on a complex enterprise‑scale network.

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
• Current IAT III in accordance with DoD 8570.01
• 9 years of progressive IT experience, including significant Microsoft Windows Server 2012R and above administration within the past 3 years
• 2 years of experience supervising complex IT projects
• 1 year of experience supervising large IT service contracts, including personnel of various job categories and skills (occurred in the last 5 years)
• Implement Global Address List (GAL) synchronizing between forests by means of Microsoft MIM
• Write and submit Change Requests (CRQs) for changes in procedures approved by Information Assurance (IA)
• Provide Exchange support and troubleshoot for thousands of users on more than 100 MSC vessels and multiple MSC NOCs
• Maintain and manage the MSC Microsoft Exchange Server infrastructure to ensure email functionality for fleet customers
• Monitor and optimize Exchange server performance

• Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation regarding security practices and operational procedures
• Create and implement guidelines for accreditations and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA)
• Assist in creation and implementation of disaster recovery, business continuity, and failover/cutover procedures
• Write and update system documentation, install security patches/updates, plan and perform Exchange server upgrades, troubleshoot email issues, and maintain the security posture of Exchange servers
• Provide written and verbal project updates to leadership, and resolve and document customer email issues using the Naval Information Warfare Command (NIWC) ticket system (Remedy)

Final salary is influenced by factors such as location, contract labor categories, experience, skills, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $122,000 USD.
