Position: IT Specialist with Security Clearance
Job #: 3013839 Apex Systems is currently hiring for an IT Specialist with our large federal client down in Pensacola, FL. Project Details / Mission Supported:
The position is supporting the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN)- a major IT services contract vehicle used by the U.S. Department of the Navy to support its digital infrastructure. NGEN is the successor to the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and is designed to provide secure, scalable, and reliable IT services to Navy and Marine Corps personnel. It supports mission-critical operations by delivering network connectivity, cybersecurity, data storage, and telecommunications services.

Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:

• Active, DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance

• CompTIA Security+ CE Certification

• 2-4+ years of IT experience

• Work independently with minimal direction and be able to help conceptualize, design, construct, test and implement portions of their information technology solutions

• Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and information technology requirements

• Candidate will help with project planning

• Hands-on software and hardware repair experience
• Must feel comfortable troubleshooting laptops, desktop devices, peripheral equipment, and basic Outlook issues

• Windows Server and Windows 7/8/10 experience highly desired

Location:

Pensacola, FL Onsite expectation:
Fully Onsite Clearance Level: Must hold at least a Secret Clearance Salary/Pay range: $27-29/HR + $5.09/HR SCA Fringe Rate
