Information Technology Operations Support Business Analyst
Location:
Pensacola, Florida – 100% ON SITE
This role provides research support administration for a federal government customer. The analyst assists with procurement, technical compliance reviews, device management, and documentation to support command operations.
Responsibilities- Prepare documentation for procurement of hardware, software, licensing, and supplies.
- Support NMOTC COR with technical compliance reviews and application governance compliance.
- Maintain logistic compliance policies for procurement packages and application development governance.
- Utilize corporate systems to analyze data and validate technical configurations before acceptance by government personnel.
- Communicate with command financial and logistical personnel regarding procurements and receipt of products.
- Manage 40 command communication devices, including smart phones and cell phones, providing troubleshooting and account setup.
- Maintain 74 multi‑functional devices for print/scan/fax services across the enterprise.
- Oversee internet commercial wireless accounts for command services and resolve vendor issues.
- Support training, safety, facilities, and general office functions.
- Apply hardware and software technical standards, configurations, and requirements.
- Develop standard operating procedures and provide written documentation for procurement and technical services.
- Utilize Word, Adobe, and Excel daily for documentation and communication.
- Maintain effective written and verbal communication with all departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma
Required Skills and Experience- Strong technical writing skills for procurement documentation.
- Daily use of MS Word, Adobe, and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of DoD, DHA, and SECNAV information technology compliance standards.
- Understanding of DoD/DON/DHA/BUMED/NMOTC policies and procurement standards.
- Project management experience with multiple timelines and meeting deadlines.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Active SECRET clearance required.
