At Kraton, we make a Positive Difference, and we are looking for individuals who are also looking to make a difference in their jobs, for our customers and to the world. We are looking to hire a key member of our Operations team at our Pensacola, Floridalocation.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate resin flake packaging equipment including general maintenance (e.g. inspection, cleaning, lubricating)
- Shipping and receiving of raw and processed goods on tanker trucks and trailers.
- Complete appropriate documentation for shipping and receiving.
- Perform housekeeping activities to manage combustible dust hazards.
- Perform general industrial tasks as needed (e.g. painting, labelling, cleaning, etc.)
- Complete required safety training and maintain job qualifications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively work on shift teams.
- Ability to work with limited supervision – shows initiative.
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions and take appropriate action.
- Utilizes critical thinking, problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Chemical Operator certificate or degree is preferred.
- 1-3 years experience in chemical manufacturing preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
