Job Responsibilities

Perform routine loading and unloading of materials within the yard or work site, assembling load packages for delivery.

Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trucks, or customer vehicles, securing items to prevent shifting or damage.

Operate various lifting devices, such as forklifts, to move products and materials around the warehouse, shop, or yard.

Build loads by determining appropriate weight, composition, and placement based on customer orders and vehicle capacity to ensure safety and balance.

Transport materials to or from storage areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts, or other devices.

Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark information on containers for proper identification.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, with at least three months of experience performing similar tasks, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift certification is required.
