Industrial Maintenance Technician I (5:45 pm–6:15 am, 4 days on / 4 days off)
Position:
Industrial Maintenance Technician I at Cytiva (Pensacola, FL). Shift hours are nights from 5:45 pm to 6:15 am, rotating 4 days on and 4 days off. The role reports to the Director of Facilities and Engineering and is part of the on‑site facilities team.
- Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, general repairs, and emergency repairs on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and logical control systems.
- Significant electrical focus with multi‑craft needs.
- Diagnose and repair electrical or mechanical equipment and process problems such as computer‑controlled process lines, pneumatic and electrically operated control systems, and pumps.
- Enter data into SAP, CMMS, and produce maintenance reports.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production, facilities, and auxiliary equipment: boilers, air compressors, air handlers, chillers, pumps/motors, cooling towers, and purified water treatment systems.
- 4+ years in an industrial plant environment, field maintenance technician/mechanic, electrician, multi‑craft technologist, engineering technician or related field.
- Demonstrated electrical knowledge or experience.
- Ability to accurately document work performed in CMMS or other maintenance management system.
- Knowledge of PLCs, logical controls, and associated programming software.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting programmable frequency drives (VFD) and their relationship to process control.
